31: City Summit Interviews – Olympia Hostler, Heather Schooler, Sidney Clevinger, Michael and Robbie Matthews, Drew Berman, Ryan Long

Heather Schooler is a coach, speaker and instructor of financial principles for Millennials and Entrepreneurs.  She is founder of The Money Library, an organization whose mission is to help adults establish and maintain financial freedom through accountability, training and education.  Heather has a desire for teaching and educating people so they are prepared when dealing with those who manage our money.

In addition to her undergraduate degree in accounting, Heather has an MBA from one of the top business schools in the country, the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania.  She was named instructor of the year in 2013 and 2016 by the RAKE APICS chapter.  Heather has formal instructor training and is a John Maxwell certified coach, trainer and speaker. 

Sidney Clevinger – I am a digital marketer, author, coach and speaker. I run multiple businesses including an advertising agency that does sever figures a year in contracts, a CBD Commerce business where we are getting to help multiple new entrepreneurs sell the CBD and live their dream of entrepreneurship. I also have a coaching course we offer 4 times a year about building your influence on social media and online. I have written 5 books on marketing and advertising on social media and have been mentioned and contributed to multiple publications both domestically and internationally.

My story that led me where I am now is one that started with a gun in my hand at the end of 2016 and has physical abuse, emotional abuse, theft, infidelity, embezzlement, anxiety, depression, anxiety attacks and panic attacks so bad I used to pass out in bathrooms, t now being a successful entrepreneur making 7-figures annually and running multiple businesses.

My highest intention is to help 1,000 people with guns in their hands like I had choose life and become successful with their lives

Michael and Robbie Mathews are an award-winning couple from Chicago, Illinois USA. This husband and wife duo are both proven and successful self-made global entrepreneurs, engaging international speakers, certified life coaches, and investors. They are published authors of their book titled Financially Speaking: The Best Improvement Starts with Self-Improvement-Create Your Own Economic Stimulus Plan which became the cornerstone that formed the company’s financial education wings.

Robbie is also a co-author of a book and a participant in an upcoming PBS Television special both titled “Phenomenal Global Women”. She along with 10 other women from different countries, cultures and nationalities share their life stories, their journeys, and their experiences. Their mission is to inspire, motivate and empower all women around the world.

Michael and Robbie are some of the top experts when it comes to talking about personal development and Financial Literacy education. They provide Financial Literacy Education and Coaching for individuals and small business. Inspired by their own personal journey, they are passionate about inter-generational wealth, growing it, sustaining it, and passing healthy financial habits down to the next generations.

Ryan Long – In 2014, the concept of the City Gala was born in order to assist startup, non-profits obtain seed funding so that they could launch into a full fledge business. The idea was to bring highly visible, and influential individuals to speak on behalf of the charitable organizations, and attract large donors and sponsors.

After City Gala 2016, Long was contacted and invited to be the Executive Producer of the Novus Summit at the United Nations. The focus of the Novus Summit, which took place on July 17th, 2016 was to bring together leaders in innovation and technology and create a conversation on how to advance humanity into the future. That event, which took place in association with UN DESA, was centered on the Global Goals initiatives of the United Nations and featured a keynote speech by Xprize Founder Peter Diamandis among other notable speakers.

For the future, Long envisions making the City Summit & Gala series an event of such magnitude that he hopes to no longer be issuing invitations, but instead becomes an event that many celebrities would eagerly want to attend, and to share their own stories of hardship, achievement and the sources from which their own inspiration has come. The program is fulfilling his dreams (and has become his primary business).

Those who attend also come to give, for now and forever. Long is most proud, perhaps, that his early events have contributed several hundred thousand dollars to programs that support LA Youth, Health & Medicine, Domestic Violence support programs, U.S. veterans and more.
